The Addiction Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to individuals with substance use disorders, including conducting assessments, diagnosing, and administering medication-assisted treatment (MAT) like buprenorphine and naltrexone. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care, educating patients, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be board certified in a relevant specialty, with specific board certification or qualification in addiction medicine or psychiatry preferred. Required qualifications include an active, unrestricted Florida medical license, experience treating substance use disorders including MAT, and demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based addiction treatment practices.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Addiction Medicine Board Certified Physician to join our team at Brevard Health Alliance, a community-based health center committed to providing high-quality, accessible care to underserved populations. The Addiction Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive medical care to individuals affected by substance use disorders (SUD), offering a range of treatment modalities including medication-assisted treatment (MAT), counseling, and integrated care coordination. This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and a collaborative approach with other healthcare providers to support recovery and improve patient outcomes.
A medical degree (MD) or osteopathic medical degree (DO) from an accredited institution, along with a board certification within the respective medical specialty; this includes but is not limited to IM, FM, Psychiatry, Neurology
American Board of Preventive Medicine (ABPM), subspecialty board certification in addiction psychiatry from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), board certification in addiction medicine from the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM), or a Certificate of Added Qualification in Addiction Medicine conferred by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
