The individual is responsible for collecting blood specimens, performing laboratory office duties such as patient registration and data entry, and processing specimens for testing or shipment. Duties also include handling various body fluid specimens and potentially performing limited Point of Care tests.
A High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with previous phlebotomy experience and/or training. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are necessary, and background in a medical laboratory or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.
Phlebotomist: 24 Hours Per Week (Midnights)
MT/MLT/Laboratory Scientist: 40 Hours Per Week (PM)
Laboratory Assistant III: 40 Hours Per Week (Midnights)
Laboratory Assistant III: 40 Hours Per Week (AM)
Laboratory Assistant: 20 Hours Per Week (AM)
Phlebotomist: 36 Hours Per Week (AM)
