The physician is responsible for the real-time analysis of electrophysiological data generated during surgical procedures, communicating findings directly to surgical teams to support decision-making. This includes conducting post-operative reviews and contributing to quality assurance efforts for neuromonitoring services.
Candidates must be a board-certified Neurologist with expertise in electrophysiology, requiring a fellowship in intraoperative neuromonitoring, though a doctorate in the field is preferred.
