The Licensed Vocational Nurse promotes and restores resident health by providing physical and psychological support and care, demonstrating competence in vital signs, assessments, medication administration, and maintaining compliance with procedures. Key duties include coordinating MDS activities, facilitating interdisciplinary rounds, monitoring admissions for compliance, and identifying patient discharge needs.
Candidates must possess a current, unencumbered State of California LVN license and American Heart Association BLS certification, with preferred experience of one year in monitoring and caring for clients or residents. Essential requirements include clear oral and written communication in English and the ability to respond professionally to inquiries from various stakeholders.
Promotes and restores resident's health by providing physical and psychological support and care to patients and their families. Understands the role of the vocational nurse as part of the nursing team.
Minimum Qualifications: -- 1 year experience monitoring and caring for clients/residents preferred
License and certifications: -- Must possess a current unencumbered State of California license -- American Heart Association BLS
-- Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms using the English language. -- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from residents, patients, physicians, peers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. -- Neat/professional appearance.
