Advocates work closely with adolescents, youth, and families to provide advocacy and support through behavioral health and respite care, which may include transportation and one-on-one in-home services. Responsibilities involve participating in treatment plan development, building trusting relationships with youth, and documenting outcomes for billing.
Applicants must be 21 years or older and possess a reliable telephone and personal transportation with good driving record and required insurance coverage. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree or enrollment in such a program is preferred, though a High School Diploma or GED is required, along with daily travel flexibility.
