The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive medical care within their scope of practice to clinic patients by cooperating with other medical professionals in a team environment, adhering to professional medical standards. Essential functions include administering medications, performing nursing assessments, reviewing patient prescriptions, conducting various on-site tests, and accurately documenting patient status and changes.
Candidates must possess an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa and hold a current CPR certificate, along with proven venipuncture skills. The role requires the ability to work independently, exercise discretion, and demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills while handling sensitive information confidentially.
We have two part-time Saturday positions available for an RN or LPN (LPNs please apply through our LPN opening) in our Knoxville or Ankeny, IA clinics supporting our medication assisted treatment (MAT) program. We also offer a Saturday shift differential for Saturday shifts.

To provide comprehensive medical care within scope of practice to clinic patients by cooperating with other medical professionals in a team environment, while maintaining professional medical standards. Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence. Responsibilities or coverage can include any of our practice areas. As part of UCS Healthcare, team members will follow all laws and regulations, including those at the Federal, State, and Local level. They will also adhere to all UCS policies and procedures, including patient confidentiality, HIPAA/ 42CFR part 2, and all CARF requirements.
