The role is responsible for delivering clinical nutrition services, including assessment, individualized care plan formulation, and intervention for patients or residents. This involves ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, coordinating with food services, and diagnosing and treating malnutrition.
A Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics or a related field is the minimum education requirement, with no prior experience necessary. Candidates must obtain Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (CDR) credential and Connecticut Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist (CDN) within 90 days of hire.
