The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering patient care services to residents, functioning within the scope defined by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing. This role includes assisting in the evaluation and modification of resident care plans and communicating patient information to residents and their families.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited LPN program and hold a current MS LPN license, a temporary MS permit, or a Compact state LPN license, with no prior experience required. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to work independently or lead a team, and knowledge of long-term care nursing regulations.
