The Psychiatric/DD Nurse assumes primary nursing responsibility for assigned residents, including treatment planning, order verification, chart audits, and medical administration under the direction of the Nurse Director. This role also involves communicating medical information, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, and providing clinical oversight to Licensed Practical Nurses.
Applicants must possess a current license as a registered professional nurse in the state of Ohio, as issued by the Board of Nursing. Key responsibilities include managing resident care plans, processing physician orders, responding to medical emergencies, and assisting with staff training.
Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code.
