The Advanced Practice Provider will manage a panel of established rheumatology patients, evaluating and treating autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including prescribing and managing DMARDs and biologic therapies. Responsibilities also include ordering and interpreting labs/imaging, performing joint injections, and collaborating with supervising physicians on complex cases.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Virginia, ideally possessing 2 or more years of APP experience, with rheumatology experience being a plus. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing complex chronic disease, utilizing immunosuppressive and biologic therapy, and functioning as an efficient, independent clinical decision maker.
