The role involves providing support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to individuals with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home, focusing on helping them achieve greater independence. Responsibilities include acting as a positive role model, guiding individuals according to their plans, engaging them in activities, and assisting with daily living tasks and appointments.
The minimum requirement for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent, with no prior experience explicitly required. Candidates must also pass several required clearances, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal, and federal fingerprint-based criminal history checks.

Under the general direction of the Division Manager of Residential Services, with specific supervision from the House Manager, is responsible for the provision of support, personal assistance, training, and quality care to people with intellectual disabilities residing in a community group home.
Schedule Details: Shifts: PRN
Location: Wallingford, PA
Program: Residential Habilitative Program
$17.50/hour
Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Licensure/Certifications: None Required
Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list
At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
