The Registered Nurse will support and monitor the physical and mental health of children and adolescents in the Residential Treatment Facility by providing direct care, managing medications, and coordinating medical appointments. This role requires working closely with the clinical team to address healthcare concerns in collaboration with pediatricians and psychiatrists.
Candidates must possess a Registered Nursing Degree from an accredited school and be licensed as an RN in New York State, along with holding a valid NYS Driver’s License. Essential abilities include relating well to children, managing difficult behaviors, and safely implementing physical interventions when necessary.
The Child and Family Services Residential Program offers a supportive environment for up to 46 children across three specialized programs. Focused on healing and growth, our dedicated staff provides treatment in small-group settings, helping children and families overcome obstacles and address traumatic experiences that have impacted their ability to live at home. Through comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision, we equip children and families with the skills needed for a successful transition, either back to their home or to an alternative living arrangement.
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to support and monitor the physical and mental health of children and adolescents in our Residential Treatment Facility. In this full-time role, you’ll provide direct care, manage medications, coordinate medical appointments, and work closely with our clinical team to ensure every resident receives the highest quality care in a safe, supportive environment.
Competitive Pay Rate of $36 per hour
