The Medical Assistant supports efficient primary care delivery by providing both administrative and clinical support, ensuring a compassionate and patient-focused experience. Key duties include patient intake, vital sign measurement, specimen collection, vaccine administration, and assisting the clinical care team with procedures and follow-up.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and be a graduate of a Medical Assistant program; MA certification is preferred. Essential abilities include strong communication, the capacity to maintain confidentiality, proficiency in patient care procedures, knowledge of medical terminology, and skill in using medical equipment.
