The Registered Nurse utilizes the Nursing Process to provide and document professional nursing care for telemetry and stroke patients according to the medical plan of care and established policies. This role involves coordinating and delegating care with other professionals and ancillary personnel while communicating findings as necessary.
Candidates must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina and must adhere to educational hour requirements for a Primary Stroke Center. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS, Basic and Advanced Arrhythmia, and NIHHS Certificate required within one year of hire.
