Social Worker, Adolescent Behavioral Health, Full Time, First Shift

• Provides behavioral health social work services for inpatient and Emergency Care Center (ECC).
• In coordination with physicians/psychiatrist, performs assessments, treatments and case management to include discharge planning for patients and families.
• Develops and implements treatment plans and discharge plans as well as provides direct therapeutic services including individual, family and group therapies.
• Provides referral to community resources and/or for hospitalization.
• Determines patient eligibility for resources.
• Utilizes de-escalation and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) techniques.
• Serves as a resource to health care professionals regarding psychosocial problems and community resources.
• Performs any other job related duties assigned by Nurse Manager or Department Director.

Special Qualifications If Social Worker

• MSW required. Licensed Independent Social Worker preferred. Two years of previous social services experience required. Psychiatric experience preferred.
