The Outreach Coordinator will conduct outreach within the recovery community, supporting members in recovery from substance abuse using a Peer-to-Peer Support model, while overseeing recreational and social recovery activities. Responsibilities also include providing information and referrals, connecting members with volunteer programs, and enhancing community awareness through media and event attendance.
Candidates must possess knowledge in the field of substance abuse along with good verbal and written communication skills, and familiarity with the local Hyannis recovery community. A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required, with a preference for candidates who have been in recovery for at least two years.

The Gandara Center is looking for a Community Outreach Coordinator to conduct outreach within the recovery community and support the members in recovery from substance abuse in a Peer-to-Peer Support model.
