Cornerstone at Canton is seeking a patient, innovative programmer who is creative, friendly, compassionate and organized to assist the Program Director in creating, scheduling and implementing therapeutic programs for our memory care residents.

Rates start at $18 - $19 per hour based on work experience

What will you be doing?
Form meaningful relationships with residents and families;
Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily therapeutic programming schedule for 7 days per week;
Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors;
Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
Assist with support group and educational sessions for families and staff
Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media
Requirements
Experience: Experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations, preferred
Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance)
Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.
