The Anesthesia Technician III is responsible for stocking anesthetic supplies for operating rooms, maintaining and ensuring the availability of anesthetic equipment, and assisting clinicians with various aspects of patient care during anesthesia procedures. Key duties involve setting up complex medical devices, performing quality control checks, managing gas supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of all equipment.
Candidates must have graduated from a one-year Anesthesia Technician program or hold certification from an anesthesia technology program along with five years of experience. A Basic Life Support Certification (BLS-C) is required, along with the ability to read, write, follow instructions, and lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Anesthesia Technician III.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for stocking anesthetic supplies for ORs, maintaining anesthetic equipment, ensuring anesthetic equipment is available, and assisting clinicians with patient care.
Graduate of a one-year Anesthesia Technician program or certification from anesthesia technology program with 5 years experience. Must be able to read, write, follow instructions. Certification in BLS-C required. Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs. Basic computer skills.
Required Licenses: Basic Life Support Cert
Bachelors Degree preferred. Experience in staff development and training preferred.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $83,725.61 - $86,816.39 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
