The Physical Therapy Assistant will administer treatments according to the therapist's plan of care, monitor patient status, and document progress to support recovery. Responsibilities also include training patients and caregivers on exercises and equipment use while supervising aides and students.
Candidates must possess an Associate of Arts degree from an approved therapy program and hold a Maryland PTA license or be pending reciprocity/exam. No clinical experience beyond education is required, but strong skills in problem-solving, time management, and communication are necessary.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you’ll work under the supervision of licensed physical therapists to deliver hands-on care and support patients through their recovery journey. You’ll help implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes.
Experience – No clinical experience beyond education required. Must be able to perform all phases of job after initial three months.
This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and direct patient interaction. You’ll need sharp attention to detail and the ability to concentrate on tasks for extended periods.
