The intern assists the pharmacist in preparing medications, which includes product selection, labeling, compounding, and repackaging while maintaining accurate patient computer profiles. Responsibilities also involve preparing sterile products like intravenous admixtures and managing drug stock rotation and storage areas.
Candidates must have completed high school or equivalent and hold current licensure as a Pharmacy Intern with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a group environment.
