The Phlebotomist is responsible for providing phlebotomy services, including proper venipuncture and special test procedures, while ensuring accurate patient accessioning and specimen processing. Additionally, the role involves performing administrative and clerical support tasks for the clinic and laboratory front desk area as needed.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma and a Certificate of completion of a Phlebotomy course, along with current CPR/BLS certification. Preferred experience includes two years of recent clinical phlebotomist experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and exceptional diplomatic communication skills.
STGi is currently seeking a Phlebotomist to provide services at our Community Based Outpatient Clinic.
The general duty of the Phlebotomist is to provide phlebotomy services as well as administrative/clerical support for the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC).
