Therapists will conduct initial assessments, provide individual and group therapy settings for older adults with mental health needs, and are responsible for thorough documentation of patient progress and treatment notes.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in a Mental Health field and hold a Texas license (LPC-A, Temporary Master Social Worker, or LMSW with intent to become LCSW). Previous experience in healthcare or behavioral health settings is preferred.
Dalhart senior care solutions is an outpatient behavioral health clinic for older adults and seniors, a subsidiary of the dallam hartley counties hospital district. Therapists are to conduct initial assessments determining whether a patient is fit for the program. Therapists are responsible for providing a therapeutic group and individual setting for clients with behavioral and mental health needs. Therapists are responsible for documenting patient progress as well as any relevant treatment notes.
