Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists by preparing and delivering medications ordered by physicians, maintaining drug inventory, and keeping patient records. They must ensure compliance with state and federal regulations while contributing to the department's effective operations.
Candidates need a certificate of completion from college or vocational school, or 2-3 years of relevant experience, along with a required California Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. Preferred qualifications include 2-3 years of pharmacy technician experience and current certification in Nevada.
This position is eligible for a $3,000 Sign On Bonus

$34.47/hour + DOE (Base Pay of $30.64 includes 12.5% per diem premium)
Summary Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.

Minimum Education/Experience Certificate of completion from college or vocational school (One year certificate from college or technical school) or 2-3 years relevant experience

• Current pharmacy technician certification in the State of Nevada
