The role involves triaging patients to determine the order of need, supervising data collection for those not seen immediately, and completing nursing admissions according to protocol. Responsibilities also include carrying out the patient's plan of care, performing minor nursing procedures under direction, delegating lab assignments, and implementing preventive treatment programs.
Candidates must possess an active and valid RN, LPN, or CMA license/certification in North Carolina, and be a graduate of an accredited program with current CPR/BLS certification and a valid NC Driver’s License. Preferred qualifications include one year of clinical experience in primary care or a community health setting and familiarity with underserved populations or team-based care models.
