CRNAs provide expert anesthesia care in collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons, delivering high-quality, holistic, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services across various acuity levels and settings. Essential functions include pre-anesthetic evaluation, developing and implementing anesthetic plans, administering agents, managing patient balance, and responding to emergencies.
Candidates must be graduates of accredited nursing and nurse anesthesia programs, hold a valid state RN License, and obtain valid state APRN Recognition within six months of hire. Certification as a CRNA by the AANA is required at the start date, along with current ACLS and BLS certifications.
