The Medication Technician is responsible for setting up and administering resident medications according to physician orders and professional standards, with potential supervision of CNAs. Duties also include providing essential personal hygiene assistance and supporting activities of daily living for residents.
Candidates must be licensed in North Carolina as a Medication Technician and maintain current, unencumbered licensure in that state. The role involves direct patient care activities such as monitoring vital signs and assisting with daily needs.
