Pharmacists evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, making therapy change recommendations, and maintaining detailed patient databases including medical history and concurrent medications. They also ensure proper laboratory tests are ordered and evaluated, collaborate with the healthcare team, and document all communications.
Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy and a current state license to practice, along with knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations. A Pharm D and one year of retail pharmacy experience are preferred, as are multi-state licenses.
Work Experience • Desired: One year experience in retail pharmacy
