The Pharmacist evaluates physician medication orders for appropriateness regarding drug, dosage, interactions, and route of administration, making recommendations as needed. Responsibilities also include maintaining patient databases, ensuring appropriate laboratory tests are ordered and evaluated, and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide support.
Required education is a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, with a Pharm D being preferred. Candidates must possess knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations, along with the ability to work cooperatively in a team setting, and hold a current state license.
Work Experience • Desired: One year experience in retail pharmacy
