The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting the physician with patient care, which includes preparing patients for exams by taking history and vitals, and performing phlebotomy. Key duties also involve accurately documenting patient care, organizing and sterilizing rooms, and handling administrative tasks like answering phones and scheduling appointments.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, with certification or registration preferred. A minimum of two years of experience is required, preferably with OB/GYN experience, along with proficiency in EMR systems and knowledge of HIPAA.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will educate, treat, and inform patients for their appointment. Potential candidates for this role should be excellent communicators who excel at developing and maintaining patient relationships.
North TAMPA clinic, with occasional float to other satellite offices will be required.
