Technicians must also report changes in resident condition, follow medication refill processes, count the med cart at shift change, and assist residents with activities of daily living.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, a Medication Technician Certification as per state regulations, and CPR/First Aid Certification, and must be at least 18 years old. Desired skills include effective communication, strong organizational abilities, good judgment, and the ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
