Primary duties involve assisting physicians during GI procedures like EGD and colonoscopy, preparing rooms, and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available. The role also requires performing cleaning, high-level disinfection, and storage of endoscopes and accessories according to policy and regulatory standards.
A minimum of one year of experience as an Endoscopy Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, or Medical Assistant is strongly preferred, along with current CPR/BLS certification within 60 days of hire. Candidates should possess demonstrated ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and maintain a commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
