Therapists will conduct initial evaluations, develop appropriate treatment plans, and administer manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and patient education. Duties also include monitoring patient progress, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and instructing patients on home exercise programs.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program and hold current, valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist, along with CPR/BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of clinical experience, especially in outpatient, orthopedic, or sports rehabilitation settings.
