The Activity Assistant is responsible for creating a joyful and engaging environment for seniors by planning and leading age-appropriate activities that suit various physical and cognitive abilities. This role requires connecting with residents to understand their emotional and social needs while cooperating closely with the care team.
Candidates must demonstrate C.A.R.E. values, be 25 years of age or older, possess a current Operator’s License, and have a high school diploma or GED, potentially supplemented by related experience or training. Successful completion of a State-approved Nursing Assistant training or CNA competency evaluation program is also required, though this training may be provided by the community.
