The Rehabilitation Technician provides necessary intervention, support, and supervision to help persons served achieve independence, focusing on optimal health and safety within various care settings. This role involves supporting skilled therapy programs, routine activities, vocational services, and managing essential departmental tasks like equipment inventory.
A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Sciences preferred, alongside computer proficiency and a valid driver's license. Candidates must be able to work scheduled shifts, including evenings/weekends, and possess experience working with disabled individuals in similar settings.
The Rehabilitation Technician is a key associate at Hope Network whose primary responsibilities include: Provide the appropriate intervention, level of support, and/or supervision to support the goals of the persons served, ensure optimal health and safety, and encourage growth to achieve the highest level of independence. Responsible for supporting assigned persons and/or groups in transitional, long term care, or home/community based settings with accessible supervision. Provide support for skilled therapy programs, or to assigned consumers for routine activities, restorative exercise/fitness, vocational services and/or social/recreation programming. Also responsible for managing inventory, ordering and maintaining equipment, routine department tasks, and other duties as assigned.

Must be able to become certified in CPR/First Aid. 5. Must be able to work scheduled shifts, may include evenings/weekends. 6. Ability to work with a minimal amount of direct supervision, demonstrate initiative, high ethics and high degree of integrity/honesty. 7. Able to seek assistance from supervision when unsure of routine or non-routine needs of persons served. 8. Able to adapt to various personalities and environments.
1. Experience working with disabled individuals in similar settings.
2. Experience and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office/basic computer skills.
3. Ability to work flexible hours to meet program needs; program locations will also vary.
