The counselor will conduct substance use assessments and provide both individual and group interventions while facilitating access to recovery resources like 12-step programs. They will collaborate with the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team to develop tailored treatment plans and participate in daily meetings.
Candidates must be certified as a CADC or CCS, or provisionally or fully licensed as an LCAS/A in North Carolina. Comfort working in community settings and possessing a valid driver's license are also required qualifications.
