The role involves performing initial psychiatric evaluations and managing medication for adult and adolescent patients within an inpatient setting. Responsibilities also include follow-up visits, collaborating with the treatment team, and providing potential consults for the dual diagnosis unit.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Psychiatry and are required to supply their own Malpractice Insurance. Interest or experience in Chemical Dependency is considered a plus for this independent contractor position.
Opportunity Details General Psychiatry RADCLIFF (Louisville), KY Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 140-bed behavioral health hospital offering in-patient and out-patient services to female adolescents, adults, older adults, military/veterans and their families. We also offer a dual diagnosis treatment program for patients with co-occurring addiction and psychiatric issues; a specialized military mental health program; and The Willows Program, our renowned acute trauma program for adolescent girls.
