The Clinical Pharmacist ensures the safe, effective, and fiscally responsible use of medications by applying clinical knowledge and serving as a patient advocate in planning and implementing pharmacy care. This role legally requires the review and approval of all activities related to dispensing patient-specific medications pursuant to a valid prescription or medication order.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Pharm D degree and be a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Ohio, along with being a licensed practitioner of a health sciences profession in Ohio. Preferred experience includes practice in areas emphasizing computerized unit dose, sterile products, and patient-focused clinical skills.
