The Peer Recovery Coach II engages members to explore and meet their recovery goals, while also coaching and guiding other Peer Support professionals in service delivery. This role involves providing peer services supervision and acting as a consultant to program leadership, alongside responding to critical mental health/addiction emergencies using de-escalation skills.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED, be a Certified Peer Specialist or have completed Peer Support Training, and have two years of experience supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges. A valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance are mandatory for this role.

The Peer Recovery Coach II engages, inspires and facilitates meaningful conversations with members which assist the members to explore, create and meet their own recovery goals. The PRC II serves to coach and guide other Peer Support professionals in the delivery of peer support services. PRC II provide peer services supervision in collaboration with the clinical supervisor and act as the peer services consultant to program leadership and other staff. The Peer Recovery Coach II may deliver educational supervision groups on the unique discipline of peer support services and the roles of peer support professionals.
Peer Recovery Coaches II provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture as defined by the Telecare Recovery Centered Clinical System (RCCS) in which each member’s point of view and preferences are recognized, understood, respected, and integrated into services and self-help programming. Additionally, Peer Recovery Coaches respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills which support a least restrictive environment for members served experiencing an emergency related to a mental health/addiction challenge.
Expected starting wage range is $22.17 - $27.08. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
