The role involves monitoring and enforcing infection prevention practices, investigating healthcare-associated infections, and training staff on proper protocols. Additionally, the coordinator collaborates on total joint replacement patient care, developing educational materials and teaching pre-operative classes.
Candidates must possess an active RN license for the state and hold current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications. The position requires performing duties in a standard office environment with significant telephone and computer data entry work.
