This role involves performing patient care under direct physician or nurse supervision, including preparing patients, administering tests, and recording diagnostic results. Responsibilities also include coordinating care organization, maintaining examination room orderliness, and performing various clerical functions.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with completion of a Medical Assistant training program, or 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, or Certified Nursing Attendant. Successful completion of the Northwell Health Medical Assistant training program is also an acceptable qualification.
