This role involves assisting all providers in a fast-paced family medicine practice by delivering primary health care, managing patient care, and performing duties such as rooming patients and administering immunizations. Key activities include health coaching, patient education, follow-up, and maintaining stocked rooms in collaboration with physicians and nurses.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Medical Assistant program or nursing school, possess necessary certifications/licenses including State Practical Nurse license and current BLS certification. Previous hospital or clinic experience is required, along with a commitment to providing extraordinary, service-oriented care.
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a CMA/LPN for its Marshalltown office. This position will be a department float position, assisting all providers. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
include: assisting in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management, working in collaboration with physicians and our team of nurses in a fast-paced family medicine practice, health coach activity, patient education, follow-up with patients, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, safe administration and documentation of vaccines/immunizations, providing excellent customer service, stocking rooms, as well as other nursing responsibilities as delegated.
Monday-Friday.
