The Physician will practice optometry within a mature, diverse, and collegial department alongside Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, including sub-specialists. This role involves providing care at the Duluth Clinic and conducting outreach to the Essentia Health-Virginia Medical facility.
Candidates must be licensed in both Minnesota (MN) and Wisconsin (WI) and possess residency or equivalent experience in Optometry. The position requires working Monday through Friday during day hours with no on-call obligation.
Education Qualifications: Licensure/Certification Qualifications: Optometry Duluth, MN PRACTICE SPECIFICS Mature, diverse, and collegial practice with department of 5 Optometrists and 6 Ophthalmologists, including sub-specialists in Cornea, Pediatrics, Glaucoma, and Retina. Access to LipiFlow, OCT, LASIK/PRK onsite in a state-of-the-art facility Outreach to Essentia Health-Virginia Medical facility-based optometry practice Monday-Friday day hours REQUIREMENTS Licensed in MN & WI Residency or equivalent experience required LOCATION Duluth, MN – a harbor city which is located at the westernmost tip of beautiful Lake Superior. 150 miles north of the metropolitan Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul Duluth city population: 86,000, Regional service area: 460,000 COMPENSATION $173,000 Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
