The technician is responsible for preparing patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation, and setting up necessary equipment and treatment areas. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness and ensuring treatment areas are well stocked for efficient patient care.
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position, though candidates pursuing a pre-physical therapy or allied health degree are preferred. Prior background in health, wellness, or personal training is also considered a preference.
