The MRI Technologist cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. They are responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information, and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma/GED and graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program. They must also be ARRT eligible and hold a BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
