The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will deliver direct patient care under supervision, performing assessments, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and monitoring patient responses. Responsibilities also include assisting with administrative tasks like admissions and discharges, collaborating with teams, providing education, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation.
Candidates must possess a current, active LPN license in North Carolina and have a minimum of one year of recent hospital experience. A current BLS certification is also required, along with strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in accordance with established policies, procedures, and scope of practice. Key Responsibilities: · Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician · Perform patient assessments and document observations and interventions accurately · Administer medications and treatments as prescribed · Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any changes to the RN or physician · Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers · Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care · Provide patient and family education and emotional support · Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) · Uphold infection control and safety standards at all times
