The Licensed Practical Nurse assumes responsibility for the total resident/patient care on a designated unit for each shift worked by performing professional nursing duties and ensuring the completion of nurse aide duties. This role requires cooperation with all disciplines to assure high-quality resident/patient care.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of Nursing and possess a current, in-good-standing Practical Nurse license from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or a temporary practice permit if not yet licensed. Demonstrated skills in management, communication, and observation, along with working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel, are required, with an interest in geriatrics.
Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing and must possess a current Practical Nurse license; in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; A Nurse who does not yet have a Pennsylvania license must have a temporary practice permit required by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Demonstrated management, communication, and observation skills with an interest in geriatrics. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
