The Mammography Technologist performs various digital mammography procedures, including screening, diagnostic exams, localizations, galactography, biopsies, DEXA exams, and quality control under the direction of a Radiologist. This role requires ensuring high-quality patient care while adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist, hold a current CA Radiology Technologist license and Mammographic Permit, and possess a current BLS Certification. Essential requirements also include documented training in Digital Mammography Tomosynthesis (8 hours) and recent experience completing 200 Mammography exams within the last 24 months.

Current CA Radiology Technologist license Current Mammographic Permit Current BLS Certification Digital Training Documentation Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program Must provide documentation of Digital Mammography Tomo training (8 hrs) Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months) and Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months). Able to operate radiologic equipment Good communication and patient care skills.
Preferred: ARRT Certificate IV Certification Associates Degree
