The ICU RN will provide exceptional care to critically ill patients by monitoring and managing their condition, administering prescribed medications, and treatments. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care while ensuring patient comfort and guiding other healthcare personnel.
Required qualifications include an Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent, one year of acute care RN experience, and valid compact state or Arizona RN licensure. Candidates must also pass a critical care competency exam or complete the AACN curriculum within one year, and possess current AHA certifications for ACLS and BLS, along with basic EKG competency.
