The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient health status, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and providing patient education for patients requiring medical and surgical interventions. This includes planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients from adolescent to geriatric, and assisting with managing care administered by other nursing staff.
A minimum requirement is an Associate degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent, along with 12 months of RN experience and a valid compact state or Arizona RN license. Candidates must also possess American Heart Association certifications for ACLS and BLS, and demonstrate basic EKG competency.
