The MRI Technologist performs high-quality magnetic resonance imaging examinations, ensuring patient safety within the magnetic environment and accurately capturing detailed anatomical images to aid in medical diagnosis. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating advanced MRI equipment, monitoring patient condition, and completing all necessary documentation and image processing according to departmental protocols.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma and be registered by the ARRT (R), obtaining ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification within nine months of hire, along with Texas state MRT certification. Previous MRI experience is preferred, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
